Playing It For The Cats!

We always get the warm fuzzies when kind people raise money for homeless cats. Last Thursday, event organiser and musician, Darryl Baser, joined forces with Dunedin Cat Rescue to host a ‘Cool Cat Gig’ at Queens Bar where cat-mad musicians and comedians took to the stage to show their love for our furry friends. The purrfect performances included Simon Maclaren and Gavin Shaw’s rendition of The Cure’s ‘Love Cats’ and Prof Goff’s recital of ‘A Poem About A Cat Called June’. Money raised from the evening will help provide new kitty homes, food and neutering costs. We can categorically say that the evening was a success!
