We are a data scientist, a psychologist and a retired scientific editor. This blog is our hobby and personal tribute to the creative spirit of the city we call home. We want to pay homage to local fashion icons, designers, visual artists and musicians who help to give Dunedin its unique identity. We also love the concept of wearing vintage, recycled and secondhand clothing, for which Dunedin is renowned. So, you’ll find plenty of that on our blog. Enjoy!

Hello!
I’m in my third year of photography, living near Wellington. I your blog is such a cool idea! This year I am working on a project that focuses on photographing people with unique style, in a way it is similar to what you two are doing.
I’ll be posting some of my work soon to my blog (it is very new), you may find it interesting.
Keep blogging, I love seeing style.. and seeing it come from New Zealand is even better!
Jaymee : )

Hi Caitlin and Helen
I just read your blog on my lovely friend Cheryl McPherson from Salisbury boutique. Beautifully written! I enjoyed looking at all the interesting photos of street fashion too. I am the owner of The Vintage Dress Co. an online store selling gorgeous vintage dresses based here in Dunedin. Maybe it would be of interest to you and your readers?

Hi,
We have just taken over the V flat in dunedin and are trying to find any artists that are interested in painting on some outside brick walls etc. If you know of any artists it would be much appreciated if you could put us in touch with them.
Cheers
